Don't we all long for it? we all need wisdom every day in small and large things but we can only get it from God.
But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favouritism and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness. (James 3:17,18)
I want that wisdom. Wisdom that is able to love when it is not heard and walk away when it is not accepted.
Wisdom with nothing to prove.
Humility comes first. Without humility we cannot impart true wisdom. We will always get in the way. Us.
Humility comes from God. Ask Him for it. Then wisdom.
When we ask for wisdom, what are we asking for? A deep sense of peaceful knowing in all situations. Then we will know what to do because we will be surrendered to God. We will be humble. That's why humility comes first. Wisdom that seeks self is not wisdom at all.
